RikuRoku: We Aren't Lost 2YEAR TWO (continued)
They were happy together, and nothing could tear them apart.
Now known as the "Newcomers", for practically being the only people to greet new children to the Checker Town High School. By doing this, they got more friends. By getting more friends, they became popular among their grades. But, it was difficult to even get near them.
About two months into the school year, Roxas got sick with a cold, and stayed home for about a week. Riku was vulnerable, once again.
Axel, or the ever-lasting Axel disease (as they called him), would constantly buzz around Riku.
"Go. Away." the silverette hissed, glaring back at the red-head.
Axel smirked, "Ah, shut up. I haven't been able to find Sora. Have you seen him?" he asked, casually resting his arm on Riku's shoulder.
"No, but I'm sure he's avoiding you. He said he hates you, anyway."
"...You talked to him?"
Riku froze. "Um...no... I've never talked to him... what are we talking about?" Oh no
RikuRoku: We Aren't Lost 1YEAR ONE
He was pushed down, pushed to the ground. Hated, like an annoying fly. But he was the least annoying, actually. See, he had never really socialized, so school was the scariest place for him. Everyone hated him, and treated him like dirt. He was used to this, though. Every day, he would flee from the others, hiding in a safer place. And that would be where he was, the entire day. No friends, no love, and defiantly no nice words. Instead of his five-letter name, he was insulted in five different languages, by five different people. It was a horrid school, and he wished to run away. But, about four months before the end of school, a new sophomore arrived. Now, he was obviously from a different part of the world. He took everything as sarcasm, or a joke. He just could not be hurt.
"Right back at cha," he would say, though his accent would get in the way sometimes. It was almost hysterical, listening to his comebacks. Even if they were stupid, it made the others back off.
